History: Mark grew up in Edinburgh, UK. His father was a musician and his mother was a piano teacher. The whole of Mark's life was affecter by music and pop culture. When Mark was four he learned how to play the piano, guitar and the violin. Mark loved music.

When Mark turned five he got a scholarship to a music academy. Mark could not go because his family didn't have the money. Mark was upset and disappointed. Mark instead went to the local school. His teachers were all allowed to use a cane. Mark was beaten twenty times while at school.

Mark soon moved to America. He still went to the local school yet it was much better. Mark soon started taking flute and drum lessons. Mark loved instruments and for his eleventh birthday got a new piano. Piano became Mark's main instument.

When Mark started high school he kissed a girl on his first day. He later got glandular fever. He was sent to hospital for four months in critical condition. Mark was so upset that he couldn't sing or play piano. He was so happy once he got better.

When he turned fifteen he started taking an interest in both males and females. He dated a three guys and two girls. His mother was furious when she found out but soon got used to it. His father was angry too but not as angry as his mother.
